2 Months Old

HEY EVERYONE...I can not believe this, but Bentley is already 2 months old today. Time flies so fast. I still remember the day when I found out when I was pregnant, when i first saw him on the ultrasound, when I felt him first move inside me, and when he was born. Time flies so much. I am so grateful for him and I am so glad that he chose Jordan and me to be his parents. He has brought nothing but joy into our lives. Bentley is really into kicking people and talking to them at the same time. Every morning he tells us stories and kicks our legs or tummies when Jordan and I are with him. He is a very smart baby and already knows how to get his way. When he knows that you are putting him down and doing something else for 2 seconds, whether it is going to the bathroom or changing the laundry, he knows that he will cry and you will come running back to him to pick him up and give him some loving. He is a very cuddly baby and loves to snuggle up to you. Bentley is starting to get big now too and looking so much like his daddy every day. He loves when daddy or mommy come home from work and see him. He has a smile on his face and talks for hours. He is such a good baby and we all love him so much.

We are so excited for when everyone comes down so that Jordan can give him his baby blessing. We are so excited for family and friends to come and join us for this special occasion. We are blessing him September 14th and we are so excited!

Work Life and Mommy Life

HEY EVERYONE... So for those of you who don't know when I was pregnant with Bentley I worked at Buckle, the clothing store, the entire time up until a week before he was born. After that I decided I just want to be a stay at home mom. When we moved to Sacramento, California we went to the Galleria Mall and went to the Buckle there. They kept offering me a job for many positions there, but I kept saying no because it would take way more time away from Bentley and from seeing Jordan on the weekends, now that he has weekends off! When we went in there a couple weeks ago they asked again if I would be interested in doing freight, which is working behind the science of Buckle and unpacking the inventory that we get in Monday through Friday. I said that I would love to, but I do not want to work Monday through Friday. They were so excited for me to say that because they were looking for someone to only help out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I said i would think about it and after talking to Jordan about it for only about 2 seconds he said that I should do it. Not only do I get out of the house for 2 days a week, but we get our lovely discount back! I missed Bentley the whole time I was gone and I would have little panic attacks because I would forget he was not with me, but I am excited that I can still work in that fun atmosphere, but still be a stay at home mom the rest of the days. 

Bentley

Bentley loves to kick anyone that is in his leg rang. He wakes up every morning and tells me stories while he kicks me in the stomach, while occasionally throwing an accidental punch at my face and his own face. I love watching him grow, which he has a lot. He is almost 2 months now, on the 29th, and we will be bringing him in for his 2 month checkup. I am excited causes I want to know how much he weighs now. Ever since he switched to formula he has been getting bigger and filling in more. He is not my little 6.1 pound baby anymore, which is a little sad when I think about how much he is getting older every day.

Ales Family Adventure Update

HEY EVERYONE.....So I am starting this so that people can know what is going on in our lives, since we live farther away from everyone. After this post I will be posting all the new updates.

Jordan's Adventures

Jordan started a new job as an estimator, which he is loving and the sole reason we moved out here to Sacramento, California. He works for East Bay Restaurant Supply. He works right with his grandpa and is learning a lot, bidding on a lot of jobs, and loves going to work early and getting home early to see his son.

Bentley's Adventures

Bentley is 7 weeks old now, and will be 2 months old on the 29th. He is getting bigger now and changing everyday. He loves when everyone holds him, especially his mommy. He is really strong and loves to stand up and kick everything and everyone that he knows is next to him. Gpa Ales (Henry) and Gma Ales (Laura) got him a mobile for his crib and he LOVES IT. When we first put him in the crib with it he was kicking his legs, laughing, and talking to it.

My Adventure

I LOVE being a mom, especially to Bentley. He is such a good baby and I am so happy that he decided to choose me to be his mom. I love being a stay at home mom, but I have decided to go back to work for only twice a week at BUCKLE!!!! I couldn't stay away from my favorite place to shop, so i finally caved into their offer of doing freight (unpacking the inventory) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is going to be weird to be gone from him for so long, but i am still excited to get out of the house for a while.

Family Adventure

Since Jordan and I were married Aug. 3rd 2013 we have lived in 4 places so far, had  Bentley born, I graduated from BYUI, got a new job, and now are looking for an apartment to live in. We love being a family and watching Bentley grow up every day. He looks like he is getting bigger, stronger, and looks different everyday when he wakes up. the picture below is the picture we tried to take forever for our 1st Sunday Family picture, but it took a couple Sundays because we forgot. So i just say this is our first attempt.

We love and miss all of our friends and family that we don't see all the time, but we will come visit.
