11 months old...36 weeks 6 days Prego

HEY EVERYONE...

It has been a little crazy here getting ready for lil baby Oakley to get here. I have been busy with Bentley, school, and getting ready for Oakley to get here by getting things for her. It has been nuts, but we are excited for her to get here and for life to get a little back to normal (or feel normal).

BENTLEY

Bentley is getting SO...big. He is already 11 months old. I can't believe it!! He is getting into everything that he can no matter how high that we put it up on things. His favorite show is still Daniel Tiger, but he is starting to watch other shows as well, but they are not as fun to watch as Daniel Tiger. Some new things Bentley loves to do are...

1. Bentley loves to follow us and shut the doors behind us. He will follow us into our room, the bathroom, and even his room. He loves to open and shut the bed room door, but  when they shut all the way he gets mad sometimes because he can not open it back up. We have had a couple incidences where he has locked himself in the room and we had to look for him. He even shut himself in the bathroom with it being pitch black in there, but we usually find him the quickest in that room because he gets scared. 

2. Bentley loves to crawl on daddy in the mornings (weekends) to wake him up, if mommy gets him up. When he wakes up he loves when he gets tickled and thrown on the bed. He loves when he gets bounced as well. 

3. Bentley loves to swim in the pool/hot tub. He has a a floaty to keep up busy, but he prefers to be out of it and splash everywhere! He loves to be in there and will be in the pool for so long. 

4. Bentley loves to walk with his walker toy. Now he can move it around all by himself if he runs it in something. It is so funny because he will push it backwards forwards, and he even tips it over. 

5. Bentley is so close to WALKING! he talks about 3 steps and then sits down. He loves to move fast so that's why he would rather crawl then walk., but he is getting the hang out it. 

6. We took Bentley to the park one day and HE LOVED IT! he was swinging on his own just laughing and giggling the entire time. He even swung with mommy and went down the slide with daddy. When we were there daddy found the geese the he really hates because they block the road overtime he drives on it, so Bentley and daddy chased them to make them mad, which Bentley loved it. 

7. Bentley loves going to the store, especially Walmart, but his new thing that he loves to do is turn around in the cart to see what is going on behind him, especially his dad is not pushing the cart. Jordan will be walking in front of the cart and he will turn around to see and watch him.

Oakley

This little girl is getting so close to coming here. We are waiting patiently, but mommy and daddy are really excited to see her. Mostly mommy just wants to stop getting kick in the ribs, stomach, and back. Also so I am not sick anymore I miss eating most things and Jordan does too as well. We are slowly getting ready for her to come by getting Bentley and her room set up, clothes, and all the other stuff. 

I finished painting her crib. It was brown, but now it is white. We got all of her pink stuff  in her bed and ready for the room to be half and half. 

This was the first baby blanket that I made for Oakley. There is another one coming and even one for Bentley too! My new hobby!

Bentley liked playing with the extra fabric left over from Oakley's blanket. Grandma made him a ninja!

Oakley is going to have a cute shoes and head bands. This is just one pair of her shoes and matching head band. She is going to be a fashionista just like her mom, dad, and big brother. 

36 weeks and 5 days

We love and miss everyone that we don't see on a daily basis. We hope everything is going great where ever you are.

MOTHER DAY

HEY EVERYONE...

I hope EVERYONE had a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! I know I did. Even though I celebrated it last year, when Bentley was still inside me, I thought that this one was way better because he was actually here. I always thought about what it would be like when I actually had kids, but I did not think it would be this soon in my life and I would never have 2 kids by this point in my life, but I would never change any part of it. I never thought that I would be blessed with the best kid in the world. Bentley literally had shown me how to love more deeper then I have ever loved before. I love my husband so much and more then anyone in the world, but it is a very different type of love that a mother has for her children. It is so strong when they are baking in the oven for 9 months, but when you hold them in your arms for the first time it is amazing. It is still amazing when they are getting so big, but still need you and want you. Bentley loves me so much even after all the times I put him to bed to cry himself to sleep, after I wipe his face after he is messy from eating, and even when I turn the vacuum on to clean his mess up (he is scared of the vacuum).

I am so blessed to be his mom and I love being his mom. I can't imagine my life with out him now. He has shown me how to be more patient, loving, joy, fun, and keep me on my toes since day one of his life here on earth. I am so excited to me a mommy of 2 soon and have Bentley have a little sister. I am so blessed to have a husband who is so supportive of me and how we raise our children. It is not always easy at this stage in our lives, but we stick by each other as husband and wife and make it through the hard times together. He has truly been my rock through these times in my life. Every since he came into my life there has been ups and downs, but he has never ONCE left me or made me feel like I couldn't accomplish anything. I am truly grateful for him not only for that, but because he gave me my two little babies that call me mommy. I have never meat such a love, patient, and understanding person in my life. He is one in a million and especially the one man in my life. He is so strong for not only supporting our growing family, but he also puts up with me. I know I can be a handful at times, but he knows how to love me and find ways to make my life easier.

Bentley got me some cute gifts. I got flowers, doughnuts for breakfast, candy, some clothes, and cute cards from both Jordan and Bentley. 

I felt so loved on mothers day, i do every day, but Mothers Day just reminds me how important motherhood is in Heavenly Father's plan. It is the only accomplishment in my life that I am thankful for I went through not knowing the outcome, the pain, the hardship, and the restless nights that i would go through. Heavenly Father puts all his faith and trust into us mothers with raising His children in righteousness in the gospel while we are here on earth.  It is a lot of responsibility, but I know that he will not give us anything that we can not handle. Fathers are a very important role as well, but being a mother is the most important gift that Heavenly Father could give to his daughter, women. I am so blessed to know that Heavenly Father has trusted me with not only Bentley, but Oakley as well. It is so special to know that he trust  me with two of his special spirits to choose me to be their mommy and want me to raise them. 

I am so thankful for my own mom and how much she has taught me. Everything that I know about being a great mom is because of her. I have never seen someone like her and the love that she has for me and my siblings, also now her grandchildren. I love her so much and appreciate all that she has done for me through my whole life and still does for me. I miss her and I am so blessed to have her as my mother!

10 MONTHS & 33 WEEKS PREGO

HEY EVERYONE...

It's been awhile AGAIN since I have updated the blog ( I know I need to get better at this), but there has been some new things that are going on in our family!

Well Bentley is going to be 10 MONTHS OLD!!! I know, Jordan and I can not believe that he is getting this big. He is really not our little baby boy anymore. He is the sweetest boy in the world and he just love living his life to the fullest. He is always smiling, laughing, giggling, on the go, and wants to be involved with what ever is going on and with who ever it is involving. He is still crawling super fast, but he is getting the walking down. I decided to open his toy that he pushes around to help him walk and he does not stop pushing it around! He defiantly is like his dad when it comes to having so much energy, but he keeps me on my toes during the day.

Bentley loves to take selfies with mommy during the day to send to daddy when he is at work.

TOP 10 NEW THINGS BENTLEY LOVES

1. Bentley LOVES to walk with his new walker toy! He is always wanting to walk by himself, but this thing will get him walking in no time on his own.

2. Bentley likes to get into trouble and push mommy and daddy's buttons. Bentley has discovered how to turn on and off Jordan's video game system. He loves to push daddy's buttons by turning the game systems of while Jordan is playing the game. It is very funny to me, but to Jordan he gets frustrated, but laughs so hard at the same time because Bentley will laugh when he hears the word stop. Bentley has discovered all the new drawers and cupboards in the kitchen, but his favorite drawer is the bottle drawer. He will pull out all the bottle, nipple, lids, EVERYTHING!

3. Bentley has discovered how to climb up the stairs! We don't have stairs in our apartment, which is good, but when we go over to other people's houses that have them it is like a whole new world for him. He only knows how to go up the stairs, not mastered going down the stairs yet. He loves going up the stair, but especially when someone is behind him because he thinks that he is being chased. 

4. Bentley has a new love for water, but in a big way. We have a pool and a hot tub at our apartment complex and he LOVE IT. He got a new floaty to be able to swim on his own, which is his favorite thing ever! We take him in the hot tub when it is cold at night and he will lay in his floaty and just look up at the stares. He loves when we take him out of it as well and let him swim freely while we hold him. 

5. Bentley is getting a lot better at liking new foods. He started to like eating donuts, but now he likes ice cream, pancakes, chicken nuggets, captain crunch cereal, and lucky charms cereal. His favorite is obviously the ice cream, but he loves to try new food, which we enjoy because he makes funny faces. 

6. Bentley is loving Daniel Tiger even MORE, which is hard to believe, but it is TRUE!! Bentley now will watches about 4 or 5 FULL EPISODES straight of Daniel Tiger. He will even sit with mommy or daddy when he watches it as well. He still loves to play, but he will sit and watch.

7. Bentley has gotten a lot better with sleeping in longer. He still goes to bed at a great time, 8:30-9:00 p.m. but he is now getting better at sleeping in to about 7:45-8:15. He Slept in a couple morning on the weekend till about 8:30, which Jordan and I loved. 

8. Bentley loves to have daddy get him out of bed on the weekends. He knows when daddy will be home and the next morning he knows that daddy will come get him. He wakes up and asks for daddy all the time, even when Jordan has to go to work.

9. Bentley loves to run away  when you are changing his diaper. He knows that when you call him over you are going to change him, so he takes off crawling. Then when you think you have him pinned down he rolls over and runs away. Sometimes he gets away and sometimes he doesn't.

Bentley likes to roll over during his diaper changing and also tries to run away. I came out of the bathroom to find Bentley in the air and daddy was trying to wipe him. 

10. Bentley LOVES his crib, not when he goes to sleep obviously, but he has this new fedish were he doesn't like to sleep anywhere, but his crib. He doesn't like to sleep in his porta-crib or anywhere else that has a porta-crib. He loves to go to sleep in his crib and move around all over it.


OAKLEY

We are getting so excited for Oakley to get here. Right now i am 33 weeks pregnant with her and I am so ready to be DONE PREGNANT!! Lately we have been getting  ready for her to come by getting her new clothes and painting her crib! Bentley and Oakley are sharing a room for right now because our apartment is a 2 bed room apartment. But it will be good so that everything is in one room. 

But we are painting her crib white and then she has shades of pink for her bedding. I am so excited for it to come together and all situated. It seems like she is taking her sweet time getting here, but it is good cause I still need to get more stuff for her. I am also making her some cute blankets as well. I have mad one blanket before, but this one is way more fun to make because it is for my little baby girl. After I make these two blankets I want to make Bentley one. They are so cute and i am so excited for her to use them and snuggle with them, like Bentley did when he was little.

We are so excited for everything to happen in the next couple months, but we want it to come faster. It is fun getting ready for Oakley to come and can't wait for Bentley to have a little sister. Bentley will be such a great big brother. He gets that there is something going on, but I am excited till he gets to hold her and see her for the first time. Wait for the next update, hopefully it will be when Oakley is here (if she comes early), but if not it will be soon.
